Shawntel graduated from the Jane Norman college in 2012 obtaining her diploma in Early Childhood Education, and Special Education. She spent the first 6 years of her career working at a childcare centre in Truro, then advanced in her career as Program Coordinator with East Hants Childcare Centre. Within a few short months, Shawntel was promoted to Assistant Director of Friends for Life East Hants Childcare Centre. She loves getting to know all of the wonderful families in East Hants. When she’s not at the Childcare Centre, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend exploring different waterfalls of Nova Scotia, or at home gardening!
